Job summary

Trinity Health Michigan is seeking a part-time Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to perform ultrasound studies across patient ages and support Radiology with data and interpretation. The role includes OB data documentation, report preparation, and assisting in new exam development.

Responsibilities include performing non-invasive ultrasound tests, assisting Radiologists in procedures, coordinating patient transport, and ensuring timely service with proper documentation and equipment

Qualifications

Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or RDMS-eligible.
Proficient in non-invasive ultrasound testing procedures.

Responsibilities

Prepares and performs a complete range of non-invasive diagnostic ultrasound test.
Assist the Radiologist in invasive procedures.
Transport patients to and from testing areas as requested.
Move patients through the process in a timely fashion.
Follow procedures when scheduling invasive procedures.
Review patient charts for orders and assessment data.
Prepare data sheets with history and technical interpretation for Radiologist; notify physician of abnormal findings.
Perform routine equipment maintenance and ensure proper operation.
Maintain clean rooms and equipment per guidelines.
Suggest quality, productivity and process improvements.
Lead department revenue capture, reconciliation and error correction when assigned.
