Job summary

Doctors Hospital of Augusta is seeking a Vascular Technician PRN to operate ultrasound equipment and assist physicians with procedures. You will contribute to high-quality imaging and patient care in a fast-paced setting.

Required qualifications include BLS within 30 days, HS diploma or GED, and a BS in Ultrasonography with clinical hours to pass the RDMS registry. Certifications must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• BS in Ultrasonography preferred.
• Clinical hours in accredited program required to pass RDMS registry for vascular ultrasound.
• RDMS/RCS/RVT/RVS certifications must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Operates ultrasound imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images and assist physicians with procedures.
• Assists physicians during ultrasound-guided procedures and ensures patient comfort and image quality.

Job Summary And Qualifications

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• High School Graduate or GED equivalent preferred
• Bachelors of Science in Ultrasonography preferred
• Clinical hours in accredited school required to pass RDMS Registry for Vascular Ultrasound Technology
• ARDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or (RCS) Registered Cardiac Sonographer, or (RVT) Registered Vascular Technician, or (RVS) Registered Vascular Specialist must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
