Get to Know Your Team:

• UT Health Jacksonville features 33 operational beds, an ICU, a 24-hour ED designated as a Level IV trauma center, a maternity unit, advanced diagnostic technology, surgical suites, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, and a UT Health East Texas Olympic Center fitness and rehabilitation facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform Echo & Vascular ultrasound diagnostic procedures for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, ensuring accurate and complete examinations by adhering to established policies and procedures.
• Organize and document all aspects of patient care in coordination with doctors, nurses, and other care providers to ensure accurate and timely ultrasound procedures.
• Participate in quality improvement activities, including adherence to ICAEL/ICAVL standards, by collecting and organizing data to maintain quality standards.
• Engage in professional growth activities to improve skills and maintain compliance with ICAEL/ICAVL standards.
• Provide excellent customer service through effective communication to support organizational objectives.
• Maintain and care for departmental equipment.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

• Ability to perform all echo and vascular procedures according to ICAEL/ICAVL protocols, with appropriate certification and licensure.
• CPR Certification.

Preferred Job Requirements

• One (1) year of related experience.
• Completion of an accredited Echo/Vascular Ultrasound program.
• Registry Certification in Echocardiography and Vascular Ultrasound.
