Job summary

The Vascular Care Group in Lowell, MI is seeking a full-time Scheduler to coordinate surgical, diagnostic, and office-based exams according to provider schedules and policies.

You will communicate with patients and families, coordinate physicians and staff for procedures, and handle pre- and post-operative scheduling while ensuring HIPAA compliance. This role is 40 hours per week and reports to the Office Manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma; associate or bachelor preferred.
• 1–3 years Healthcare experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain surgical and procedure schedule for the facility.
• Coordinate physicians and clinical staff for procedures.
• Communicate with patient families during scheduling.
• Obtain authorizations and monitor insurance as needed.
• Provide scheduling via phone and in person; maintain HIPAA compliance.
