Job summary

Piedmont Heart Institute Physicians in Augusta, GA is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (PA/NP) to join the vascular service. The role includes inpatient rounding and first assisting in the OR, with occasional crossover to the clinic.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Physician Assistant program with Georgia license.
• NPs: Master's degree in Nursing and Georgia license for Advanced Practice Nursing.
• Vascular/cardiovascular or general surgery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures with physician oversight.
• Take patient histories and conduct physical examinations.
• Order laboratory studies and diagnostic procedures.
• Monitor progress and communicate with supervising physician.
• Provide vascular inpatient and clinic coverage and assist in the OR as needed.
