Job summary

As a Medical Assistant, you will perform screenings, collect specimens, assist with treatments, maintain equipment, and handle administrative duties to ensure smooth patient flow and care continuity.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved medical assisting program or military medical training (HM/68W/4N0X1).
• Completion of a clinical externship or extensive clinical experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; must obtain during new hire period if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Assist with screenings and treatments by updating health information and documenting patient care.
• Monitor and communicate changes in patient condition.
• Maintain equipment, supplies and examination areas.
• Perform administrative/clerical duties including filing, scheduling, data entry and patient registration.
