Job summary

Cleveland Clinic’s Main Campus is seeking a Medical Assistant to join a collaborative team. You will support medication management, patient monitoring and a range of clinical and clerical tasks in a busy, patient‑centered environment.

The role offers broad clinical exposure, working with interdisciplinary teams and a focus on high‑quality patient care. Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with no weekend requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved medical assisting program OR military training as a hospital Corpsman (HM), Combat Medic (68W) or Medical Service Technician (4N0X1).
• Completion of a clinical externship OR extensive clinical experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross; if not held, must obtain during onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Assist with screenings and treatments, update health info, document patient care.
• Monitor and communicate changes in patient condition.
• Maintain equipment, medical supplies and exam areas.
• Perform administrative/clerical duties: filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, patient registration.
