Ascend Medical Staffing is seeking a qualified Physician Assistant - Surgery for a locum tenens assignment in Ohio. The provider will support inpatient surgical services and ER consultations across multiple hospital facilities during a maternity leave coverage period.

Coverage dates are from July 13, 2026 to November 13, 2026, with a Monday through Friday schedule, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and an average patient volume of 12–15 per day. EPIC is used for EMR documentation.

Qualifications

• Active OH license
• BLS, ACLS, and DEA certifications
• Board Certification

Ascend Medical Staffing is seeking a qualified Physician Assistant - Surgery for a locum tenens assignment in Ohio. The provider will support inpatient surgical services and ER consultations across multiple hospital facilities during a maternity leave coverage period.

Assignment Details

Coverage Dates: July 13, 2026 - November 13, 2026

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM

Coverage: 4-5 days per week

Average Patient Volume: 12-15 patients per day

Trauma Level: Level I trauma and community-based hospitals

EMR/Documentation: EPIC

Job Requirement:

Board Certification

Active OH license

BLS, ACLS, DEA
