Job summary

Northeast Healthcare Recruitment in Fairfield, Ohio seeks an experienced, Board-Certified Vascular Surgeon for locum tenens coverage at a Level I Trauma Center. The physician will provide inpatient and outpatient vascular care, perform endovascular and open procedures, and participate in rotating on-call.

Responsibilities include daily rounds, urgent case response, collaboration with trauma and critical care teams, and thorough documentation in Epic EMR.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Board-certified in Vascular Surgery.
• Fellowship training in Vascular Surgery.
• Active Ohio medical license.
• Minimum of 2 years of work experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient vascular surgery consultations and conduct daily rounds.
• Evaluate and manage patients with vascular conditions and surgical needs.
• Perform endovascular interventions and vascular surgical procedures.
• Provide outpatient clinic evaluations and follow-up care.
• Participate in after-hours beeper/phone call coverage.
• Respond to urgent and emergent vascular surgery cases as needed.
• Coordinate care with trauma, critical care, and other multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic.

The physician will provideinpatient and outpatient care, perform endovascular and surgical procedures,and participate in a rotating beeper/phone call schedule.
