Job summary

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse for our Vascular Stepdown/Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) on a 14-week assignment. This temporary full-time role offers a pay rate of $70.00 per hour and supports experienced RNs in a busy surgical telemetry environment.

You will care for vascular surgery and transplant-adjacent patients, maintain telemetry beds, and participate in a team focused on patient safety and excellence in care.

Qualifications

• Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required
• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS certifications
• NIH Stroke Scale certification or training preferred
• 2+ years of recent acute care hospital RN experience

Responsibilities

• Provide care for vascular/telemetry patients in IMCU with patient ratios 1:4 or 1:5
• Monitor vitals, administer medications, and respond to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and quality care
