Job summary

USA Clinics Group in New York seeks a Vascular Sonographer to perform vascular ultrasound studies on the lower extremities, ensuring high-quality imaging and an excellent patient experience while supporting a busy vein clinic network.

This full-time float position requires commuting to Bethpage, Stony Brook and Valley Stream clinics, weekend availability, and a credentialed background in vascular ultrasound.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Vascular Ultrasound program.
• Current RVT/RVS/RPhS credential or eligibility to obtain certification within 90 days.
• Experience with venous insufficiency, reflux, venous mapping and venous duplex studies preferred.
• Ability to independently perform vascular ultrasound examinations and produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a patient-focused healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular ultrasound studies including venous insufficiency, venous reflux, venous mapping, and venous duplex examinations.
• Perform additional vascular imaging studies such as carotid, arterial duplex, ABI, DVT, and PVR testing as applicable.
• Independently perform and document ultrasound examinations while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
• Support patient care within a vein clinic, vascular laboratory, or related vascular imaging environment.
• Utilize PACS and EMR systems to document studies, manage images, and support clinical workflow.
• Apply broad sonography knowledge including OB/GYN and abdominal basics.
