Job summary

USA Clinics Group is seeking a Vascular Sonographer to perform thorough vascular ultrasound assessments focused on the lower extremities and ensure an excellent patient experience. You will commute to Bethpage, Stony Brook, and Valley Stream clinics wearing many hats in a fast-paced vascular imaging environment.

The role requires RVT/RVS/RPhS credentials (or eligibility within 90 days), strong communication, and the ability to work independently and accurately.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Vascular Ultrasound program.
• Current RVT, RVS, or RPhS credential or eligibility to obtain certification within 90 days.
• Demonstrated experience performing venous insufficiency, reflux, venous mapping, and venous duplex studies is preferred.
• Ability to independently perform vascular ultrasound examinations and produce high-quality diagnostic images, required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a patient-focused healthcare environment, required.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular ultrasound studies including venous insufficiency, venous reflux, venous mapping and venous duplex examinations.
• Perform additional vascular imaging studies such as carotid, arterial duplex, ABI, DVT, and PVR testing if applicable.
• Independently perform and document ultrasound examinations while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
• Support patient care within a vein clinic, vascular laboratory, or related vascular imaging environment.
• Utilize PACS and EMR systems to document studies, manage images, and support clinical workflow.
• Apply broad sonography knowledge including OB/GYN and abdominal modalities.
