Job summary

BB Imaging is seeking Vascular Sonographers for PRN shifts to supplement existing schedules while staying connected to a broader sonographer network. This role lets you do meaningful clinical work without giving up your current routine.

Qualifications

• RVT or RVS credential required.
• 1+ years vascular sonography experience.
• Knowledge of human anatomy and medical terminology related to specialty.
• Knowledge of applied physics related to ultrasound.
• HIPAA compliance with EMR systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Calm under pressure and compassionate with patients.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform sonographic procedures.
• Inspect and review patient charts, reports, lab results, and medical history.
• Create reports to assist the physician with documentation.
• Evaluate sonograms to identify or rule-out anomalies.
• Communicate sonographic findings to physician.
• Communicate machine errors or needs to maintain quality machines and imagery.
• Restock sonography rooms with required supplies.
• Assist with training and mentoring new team members.
• Increase knowledge of diseases and CMEs.
• Other duties assigned by managers.

What You’ll Do

IS THIS YOU?

• RVT or RVS credential
• 1+ years vascular sonography experience
• Knowledgeable of human anatomy and medical terminology related to specialty

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

DO YOU SCORE ANY BONUS POINTS?

• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with an OB/GYN specialty
• Bachelor’s degree in Sonography or other related fields of study

RISK OF EXPOSURE TO BLOODBORNE PATHOGENS: Category 1 - Tasks involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues.
