Job summary

BB Imaging in Tallahassee, FL is seeking experienced Vascular and Echo Sonographers for PRN / supplemental scheduling. Join a sonographer-led organization and work closely with physician partners to support high-quality patient care.

Travel to clinic sites within your assigned area, perform sonographic procedures, review charts, create reports, and communicate findings. Requires RVT/RVS and RDCS/RCS/RCCS credentials, 1+ year experience, and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• RVT or RVS credential is required.
• RDCS, RCS or RCCS credential is required.
• 1+ years of echo or vascular sonography experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of human anatomy and ultrasound physics is required.
• HIPAA compliance is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform sonographic procedures.
• Travel to clinic sites within your assigned area.
• Inspect and review patient charts, reports, and medical history.
• Create reports to assist the physician with documentation.
• Communicate sonographic findings to the physician.
• Report machine issues to maintain image quality.
• Restock sonography rooms with required supplies.
• Pursue CMEs to expand vascular knowledge.
• Other duties assigned by managers.

What You'll Do

• Perform sonographic procedures
• Travel to clinic sites within your assigned area
• Inspect and review patient charts, reports, lab results, and medical history
• Create reports to assist the physician with documentation
• Communicate sonographic findings to physician
• Communicate machine errors or needs to maintain quality machines and imagery
• Restock sonography rooms with required supplies for sonography performance
• Increase your knowledge of diseases and new procedures through CMEs
• Other duties assigned by managers

Is This You?

• RVT or RVS credential
• RDCS, RCS or RCCS credential
• 1+ years echo or vascular sonography experience
• Knowledgeable of human anatomy and medical terminology related to specialty
• Knowledge of applied physics related to ultrasound
• Compliant with HIPAA as it relates to the use of EMR systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Calm under pressure and compassionate with patients
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future
