Job summary

BB Imaging in Dallas, TX is seeking an experienced Vascular Sonographer to join our physician-partnered team. You will perform vascular ultrasound procedures, review patient charts, and generate accurate reports to support clinical decision-making.

Responsibilities include travel to clinic sites within your assigned area, communicating findings to physicians, mentoring new team members, and providing guidance during procedures such as amniocentesis.

Qualifications

• RDMS RVT certification and 1+ year vascular experience required.
• Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; HIPAA compliance.

• Perform sonographic procedures.
• Travel to clinic sites within your assigned area.
• Inspect and review patient charts, reports, lab results, and medical history.
• Create reports to assist the physician with documentation.
• Evaluate sonograms to identify or rule-out patient/fetus anomalies.
• Communicate sonographic findings to physician.
• Assist with training and mentoring new team members.
• Provide visual sonographic guidance to complete successful amniocentesis.
• Communicate machine errors or needs to maintain quality machines and imagery.
• Restock sonography rooms with required supplies for sonography performance.
• Increase knowledge through CMEs.
• Other duties assigned by managers.

IS THIS YOU?

• Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited educational program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with a Vascular specialty (RVT)
• 1+ years vascular sonography experience
• Knowledge of applied physics related to ultrasound
• Compliant with HIPAA as it relates to the use of EMR systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Calm under pressure and compassionate with patients
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future

DO YOU SCORE ANY BONUS POINTS?

• Registered in Adult Echo (AE)
• Bachelor's degree in Sonography or other related fields of study
