Job summary

BB Imaging is expanding its vascular team and seeks experienced Vascular Sonographers to work closely with vascular surgeons, performing high-quality ultrasound studies and delivering excellent patient experiences. The role emphasizes hands-on imaging, clinical standards, and ongoing professional development within a sonographer-led community.

The position involves travel to clinic sites in the assigned area, mentoring teammates, and contributing to documentation and reporting.

Qualifications

• 1+ years vascular sonography experience required.
• Registered RVT or RVS credential.
• Knowledge of human anatomy and ultrasound physics.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular sonographic procedures.
• Travel to clinic sites within assigned area.
• Review patient charts, reports, and medical history.
• Create reports to assist physicians with documentation.
• Communicate findings to physicians.
• Assist with training and mentoring new team members.
• Maintain quality machines and imagery; report issues.
• Restock rooms with required supplies; support CME learning.

What You’ll Do

• Perform sonographic procedures
• Travel to clinic sites within your assigned area
• Inspect and review patient charts, reports, lab results, and medical history
• Create reports to assist the physician with documentation
• Communicate sonographic findings to physician
• Assist with training and mentoring new team members
• Communicate machine errors or needs to maintain quality machines and imagery
• Restock sonography rooms with required supplies for sonography performance
• Increase your knowledge of diseases and new procedures through CMEs
• Other duties assigned by managers

Is This You?

• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) credential
• 1+ years vascular sonography experience, preferably working with a vascular surgeon
• Knowledgeable of human anatomy and medical terminology related to specialty
• Knowledge of applied physics related to ultrasound
• Compliant with HIPAA as it relates to the use of EMR systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Calm under pressure and compassionate with patients
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future

• Bachelor's degree in Sonography or other related fields of study
