Job summary

Unity Health in Searcy, AR seeks a Registered Vascular Tech, FT, to perform vascular diagnostic exams including ultrasounds in the hospital. May take on supervisory duties when prepared and participate in rotating call night/weekend shifts.

Candidate must graduate from an accredited ultrasound program, be registry eligible or registered (ARDMS/CCI), hold ACLS, and communicate effectively with physicians, staff, patients and visitors.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program or appropriate training in vascular technology and sonography.
• Registered preferred or registry eligible with ARDMS or CCI; ACLS certification required.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with physicians, associates, patients and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular diagnostic exams including ultrasounds in hospital areas, including special care units.
• Possibly assume supervisory responsibilities when prepared.
