Job summary

Arkansas Heart Hospital in El Dorado, AR is seeking a Non-Invasive Vascular Technologist to perform comprehensive ultrasound exams and vascular studies, ensuring accurate, timely results.

You will work with the care team, maintain equipment, document findings, and may travel to satellite clinics; RVT eligibility and BLS within 90 days are required. Flexible shifts with weekend coverage and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in vascular technology or ultrasonography is required.
• Registry-eligible; RVT preferred or required within one year of employment.
• Current BLS certification within 90 days of employment.
• Experience in non-invasive vascular technology is optional; one year preferred.
• Endovenous laser treatment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs quality abdominal aorta and carotid ultrasounds, limb arterial Dopplers, venous ultrasounds and ABI/segmental pressures.
• Evaluates each test and provides physicians with preliminary reports when necessary.
• Notifies physicians immediately when test results require urgent attention.
• Orders and stocks supplies and maintains equipment.
• Maintains accurate logs of all studies performed.
• May cross train with other clinic positions as certification requires.

Education

Associate of Science degree in vascular technology or ultrasonography

Bachelor degree in related major (vascular technology) preferred
