Job summary

Arkansas Heart Hospital, LLC is seeking a Registered Vascular Technologist (non-invasive) to perform ultrasound examinations and vascular studies in a timely, accurate manner.

The position requires RVT eligibility with BLS within 90 days, and may involve day travel within the South Arkansas Territory. Flexible schedules cover multiple shifts and weekends as needed, with cross-training opportunities and a focus on patient care quality.

Qualifications

• AS degree in vascular technology or ultrasonography required.
• RV T registry-eligible; RVT preferred or required within one year.
• Current BLS certification within 90 days of employment.
• Minimum of one year non-invasive vascular technology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs quality abdominal aorta and carotid ultrasounds, limb arterial dopplers, venous ultrasounds and ABI/segmental pressures.
• Evaluates each test and provides physicians with preliminary reports when necessary.
• Maintains logs and ensures studies are available to the Cardiologist or appropriate physician.
• Maintains all equipment and stocks supplies; cross trains with other clinic positions as certification allows.
• May travel to satellite clinics and perform Point of Care procedures per policy.
