Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a qualified Vascular Sonographer for the Kenilworth area in Charlotte to perform vascular ultrasound testing and document results. You will verify orders, adjust exams for patient comfort, and prepare preliminary reports for physicians.

The role requires a CAAHEP vascular sonography background with RVT/RVS credentials, at least two years of experience, and BLS certification. Expect base support, potential coverage at other sites, and a sign-on bonus where eligible.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAAHEP vascular sonography program or equivalent experience with RVT/RVS credentials.
• Two years of vascular sonography experience required, BLS certification required.
• Performs testing per accredited protocols and documents findings.

Responsibilities

• Verifies physician orders and reviews patient records prior to exams.
• Performs basic vascular ultrasound testing and ensures patient comfort.
• Recognizes abnormalities and documents findings to support diagnosis.
• Delivers detailed preliminary reports to physicians.
• Enters data and final reports into the cardiovascular system.
• Maintains equipment cleanliness and proper function per vendor guidelines.
