Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAAHEP vascular sonography program or RVT/RVS credentials.
• Two years of vascular ultrasound experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• Competencies include Doppler evaluations and post-procedural assessments.

Responsibilities

• Verifies physician orders and reviews patient records prior to exam.
• Performs vascular ultrasound testing per protocols and ensures patient comfort.
• Documents abnormal pathologies and provides preliminary reports.
• Enters measurements and final reports into the cardiovascular system.
• Ensures equipment is cleaned and functioning per manufacturer guidelines.
