Job summary

Qualifications

• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer credential preferred.
• Experience performing duplex/Doppler vascular exams.
• Proficient in documenting results in the EMR and communicating findings.

Responsibilities

• Reviews medical records, takes history, and performs physical exams relevant to vascular disease.
• Performs duplex/Doppler exams per policy; seeks supervisor or physician input as needed.
• Provides preliminary results in the EMR and notifies referring physician of significant findings before discharge.
• Maintains vascular ultrasound equipment and coordinates with biomedical staff as needed.
