Job summary

VIP Medical Group is seeking a skilled Medical Sonographer to perform diagnostic venous duplex ultrasound scans and post-procedure assessments at the Cinco Ranch, TX location. The role requires an accredited Associates degree, ARDMS certification, and at least one year of experience, with EMR proficiency and HIPAA compliance as core expectations.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Medical Sonography.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Sonographer.
• Certification: Certified Medical Sonographer.
• RVT or RVS preferred.
• EMR systems experience.
• HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic venous duplex ultrasound scans, rule out DVT scans, and post procedure scans.
• Prepare exam room and ultrasound equipment to conduct sonography exams in accordance with patient safety policies.
• Medical intakes.
• Enter medical notes in our EMR system.
• Use sterile technique for procedure setup and prep patients for procedures.
• Maintain patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA.
• Properly care for Ultrasound equipment and report issues.
• Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with health care team.
