Job summary

VIP Medical Group in Torrance, CA seeks a Certified Medical Sonographer to perform diagnostic venous duplex ultrasound scans and related exams. You will enter medical notes in our EMR, maintain patient privacy, and collaborate with the health care team.

Requirements include an Associate degree in Medical Sonography, 1+ year of experience, and certification as a Medical Sonographer; RVT/RVS preferred. Competitive compensation and benefits including health insurance and paid time off are provided.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Medical Sonography.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Sonographer.
• Certification: Certified Medical Sonographer.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic venous duplex ultrasound scans, rule out DVT scans, and post procedure scans.
• Prepare exam room and ultrasound equipment to conduct sonography exams.
• Medical intakes.
• Enter medical notes in our EMR system.
• Use sterile technique for procedure set up and prep patients for procedures.
• Maintain patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA.
• Properly care for Ultrasound equipment and notifies the office if there are any issues.
• Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with co-workers and members of the health care team.
