Job summary

BB Imaging in Ocala, FL is seeking experienced Vascular Sonographers to join a sonographer-led team dedicated to high-quality vascular ultrasound studies. You will work closely with vascular surgeons and support patient care through accurate imaging and reporting.

The role offers hands-on training, clinical development, and opportunities to mentor others within a collaborative environment. A strong emphasis on quality and patient experience is central to this position.

Qualifications

• 1+ years vascular sonography experience, preferably with a vascular surgeon
• Knowledge of human anatomy and medical terminology related to the specialty
• Knowledge of applied physics related to ultrasound
• HIPAA compliance when using EMR systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Perform sonographic procedures
• Travel to clinic sites within assigned area
• Inspect and review patient charts, reports, and medical history
• Create reports to assist the physician with documentation
• Communicate sonographic findings to the physician
• Assist with training and mentoring new team members
• Communicate machine errors or needs to maintain quality machines and imagery
• Restock sonography rooms with required supplies
• Pursue CMEs to expand knowledge
• Other duties assigned by managers

What You’ll Do:

• Perform sonographic procedures

• Create reports to assist the physician with documentation
• Communicate sonographic findings to physician
• Assist with training and mentoring new team members
• Communicate machine errors or needs to maintain quality machines and imagery
• Restock sonography rooms with required supplies for sonography performance
• Increase your knowledge of diseases and new procedures through CMEs
• Other duties assigned by managers

Is This You?

• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) credential
• 1+ years vascular sonography experience, preferably working with a vascular surgeon
• Knowledgeable of human anatomy and medical terminology related to specialty
• Knowledge of applied physics related to ultrasound
• Compliant with HIPAA as it relates to the use of EMR systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Calm under pressure and compassionate with patients
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future
