Job summary

BB Imaging in the Dallas area is seeking an experienced Vascular Sonographer to perform procedures, travel to clinic sites within your assigned area, and deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging. You will review patient charts and assist physicians with documentation.

Requirements include a CAAHEP-accredited program, RDMS with RVT, 1+ year vascular experience, HIPAA knowledge, and strong interpersonal skills. The role offers premium pay, PTO accrual, supportive culture, and well-being resources.

Qualifications

• CAAHEP-accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography is required.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with Vascular RVT.
• 1+ year of vascular sonography experience.
• HIPAA compliance and EMR system knowledge.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform sonographic procedures at clinic sites.
• Travel to clinic sites within your assigned area.
• Review patient charts, reports, lab results, and medical history.
• Create reports to assist physicians with documentation.
• Evaluate sonograms to identify or rule out anomalies.
• Communicate findings to physicians and care team.
• Assist with training and mentoring new team members.
• Provide guidance for amniocentesis and ensure quality imagery.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Perform sonographic procedures
• Travel to clinic sites within your assigned area
• Inspect and review patient charts, reports, lab results, and medical history
• Create reports to assist the physician with documentation
• Evaluate sonograms to identify or rule-out patient/fetus anomalies
• Communicate sonographic findings to physician
• Assist with training and mentoring new team members
• Provide visual sonographic guidance to complete successful amniocentesis
• Communicate machine errors or needs to maintain quality machines and imagery
• Restock sonography rooms with required supplies for sonography performance
• Increase your knowledge of diseases and new procedures through CMEs
• Other duties assigned by managers

IS THIS YOU?

• Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited educational program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with a Vascular specialty (RVT)
• 1+ years vascular sonography experience
• Knowledge of applied physics related to ultrasound
• Compliant with HIPAA as it relates to the use of EMR systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Calm under pressure and compassionate with patients
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future

DO YOU SCORE ANY BONUS POINTS?

• Registered in Adult Echo (AE)
• Bachelor's degree in Sonography or other related fields of study
