Qualifications

• Current Alabama or compact state RN license required.
• Associate’s degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program is needed.
• Basic Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification is required within six months of hire.
• Two to three years of experience preferred; new graduates welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate patient assessments and identify needs.
• Initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provide patient care suited to condition and age.
• Document medical necessity in the medical record accurately.
• Revise Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Perform accurate quality improvement assessments.
