Job summary

Mercy South is seeking an EVOR RN (Registered Nurse) for a full‑time position. The role focuses on delivering patient care within Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework, coordinating with the surgical team, and upholding patient rights and confidentiality.

The ideal candidate has an RN license in the hiring state (or compact licensure), at least six months of OR experience, and BLS certification or completion within 30 days of hire. Various certifications may be required depending on unit.

Qualifications

• RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure.
• Six months OR experience in operating room settings.
• Basic Life Support certification or course completed within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care per Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process.
• Coordinate patient care with surgical team and other departments.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of information.
• Uphold Mercy Service Standards and mission in daily duties.
