Job summary

Mercy South is seeking an EVOR RN for a full-time position. You will apply the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework to deliver patient care and coordinate with the surgical team to support optimal outcomes.

The role requires an RN license in the hiring state or a compact license, and a minimum of six months OR experience with BLS certification (or completion within 30 days). Additional certifications such as ACLS, TNCC, and PALS may be required depending on unit needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Maintain current RN licensure in the hiring state or compact licensure.
• Six months OR nursing experience; Level I competency per policy.
• Basic Life Support certification, or complete within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care following Mercy Conceptual Framework and nursing process.
• Coordinate patient care with the surgical team and other departments.
• Uphold patient rights and confidentiality; adhere to Mercy Service Standards.
• Demonstrate accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
