Job summary
American Endovascular & Amputation Prevention in New York seeks a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient vascular team. You will perform clinical assessments, develop and execute care plans, and work closely with interventionalists to restore limb perfusion and prevent amputations.
Minimum qualifications include NY NP licensure, MSN/DNP, FNP certification, and 3+ years in family medicine or vascular care, with BLS and ACLS.
Qualifications
- Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in New York.
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing.
- Board certification as FNP or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in family medicine or vascular care.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Responsibilities
- Conduct clinical assessments for geriatric patients with vascular conditions.
- Partner with interventionalists to plan and manage vascular care.
- Document comprehensive visit notes using EMR and dictation.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safety and outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on prevention and treatment options.
- Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
