Job summary

Vascular Centers of America is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for our Brooklyn location to serve as the primary provider in a high-volume outpatient setting. You will evaluate vascular and knee pain, order tests, and develop treatment plans following established protocols, while collaborating with physicians.

Travel to Michigan and New York locations for training is required. The role offers competitive salary with bonus potential and comprehensive benefits, including medical/dental/vision, 401(k)

Qualifications

• Active New York NP license required.
• Certification from an accredited NP program (FNP, AGACNP, ACNP, etc.).
• Minimum 1 year of NP experience.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Willingness to travel for training.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations for vascular and knee pain conditions.
• Order, review, and interpret diagnostic testing including vascular ultrasounds and other imaging studies.
• Identify patients requiring procedural intervention and collaborate with physicians regarding treatment planning.
• Provide pre-procedure evaluations and post-procedure follow-up care.
• Educate patients regarding vascular disease, risk factor modification, medications, and lifestyle changes.
• Maintain accurate, thorough EMR documentation.
• Work collaboratively with ultrasound technologists, medical assistants, and clinical staff in a high-volume outpatient setting.
• Deliver high-quality patient care while maintaining efficiency and workflow standards.

We are currently seeking an intelligent and motivated Nurse Practitioner for our Brooklyn location.

Our Nurse Practitioner will serve as the primary provider, managing a high-volume patient population.

Requirements:

• Active New York Nurse Practitioner license required
• Certification from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (FNP, AGACNP, ACNP, etc.)

• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Comfortable managing medically complex patients
• Strong critical thinking, adaptability, and organizational skills
• Tech-savvy with strong EMR/documentation skills
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
• Willingness to travel for training
