American Endovascular and Amputation Prevention in New York, NY is seeking a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient vascular team. You will perform clinical assessments for patients with peripheral artery disease and other complex vascular conditions, alongside interventionalists to restore blood flow and prevent amputations.

The role requires NY NP licensure, a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing, FNP or equivalent certification, and 3+ years in family medicine or vascular care.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of New York.
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or equivalent specialty.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in family medicine, vascular care, or a related healthcare setting.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed geriatric-focused physical exams and clinical assessments.
• Develop, implement, and manage vascular care and pain management plans with interventionalists.
• Generate and finalize visit notes using voice recognition within the EMR.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and coordinated care.
• Educate patients and families on disease prevention, treatment pathways, and decision-making.
• Maintain accurate patient records and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
