Job summary

Vascular Centers of America in Brooklyn, NY seeks a Nurse Practitioner to serve as primary provider in an outpatient vascular clinic, managing a high-volume patient population.

Qualifications

  • Active New York NP license required
  • Certification from an accredited NP program (FNP, AGACNP, ACNP, etc.)
  • Minimum 1 year NP experience required
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Comfortable managing medically complex patients
  • Strong critical thinking, adaptability, and organizational skills
  • Tech-savvy with strong EMR/documentation skills
  • Excellent communication and patient education abilities
  • Willingness to travel for training

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations for vascular and knee pain conditions
  • Conduct focused physical assessments and develop treatment plans following established clinical protocols
  • Order, review, and interpret diagnostic testing including vascular ultrasounds and other imaging studies
  • Identify patients requiring procedural intervention and collaborate with physicians regarding treatment planning
  • Provide pre-procedure evaluations and post-procedure follow-up care
  • Educate patients regarding vascular disease, risk factor modification, medications, and lifestyle changes
  • Maintain accurate, thorough, and efficient EMR documentation
  • Work collaboratively with ultrasound technologists, medical assistants, and clinical staff in a high-volume outpatient setting
  • Deliver high-quality patient care while maintaining efficiency and workflow standards

We are currently seeking an intelligent and motivated Nurse Practitioner for our Brooklyn location.

Our Nurse Practitioner will serve as the primary provider, managing a high-volume patient population.
