Qualifications

• Graduate of professional nursing program (Diploma/ADN/BSN).
• Must hold current NYS Registered Nurse license.
• Obtains BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• 1–3 years of clinical RN experience required.
• Telemetry or ICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments and document care as required.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
• Assess and respond to patient needs for care rendered.
• Apply sound nursing judgment in care management decisions.
• Provide primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care.
• Direct and guide ancillary staff and maintain standards of professional nursing.
