Job summary

100 Albany Med Health System is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for our Vascular Interventional Radiology Unit in Albany, NY. The successful candidate will provide peri‑procedural nursing care and administer conscious sedation for patients undergoing interventional procedures.

This role requires thorough nursing knowledge, excellent communication skills, and critical care experience. The position offers competitive hourly rates ranging from $43.50 to $48.50 per hour and comprehensive healthcare coverage.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of RN experience in critical care.
• Current New York State Registered Nurse license.
• Critical care experience with ACLS and/or PALS; pediatric experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide peri‑procedural nursing care for interventional radiology procedures.
• Administer conscious sedation and monitor hemodynamics.
• Manage vented and critical care patients.
• Assist with central venous device placement.
• Perform phase‑1 anesthesia recovery for pediatric and adult patients.
