Job summary

Ascension Medical Group, a leading nonprofit Catholic health system, seeks a Medical Assistant for the Vascular Interventional Radiology and Vein Solutions clinic in Carmel, Indiana. Qualifications

• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Medical Assistant certification/registration required within 90 days of hire.
• Experience in a clinical/medical office setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with treatments ordered by provider under supervision.; perform select clinical duties.
• Interview patients, measure vital signs, and record information on charts; prepare treatment rooms.
• Perform basic clerical duties: answer phones, maintain records, file.
• Perform materials management: order and stock supplies; help maintain a clean environment.
• Document provider encounters and transcribe orders for labs, radiology, and medications.
