Job summary

You will review physician charges, ensure accurate CPT/ICD-10-CM coding, and support denial research and education for coders and providers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of coding experience.
• Extensive knowledge in Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgery and/or Vascular Surgery coding.
• Knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS.

Responsibilities

• Code claims directly from the medical record/operative report.
• Ensure accurate coding and compliance with guidelines.
• Assist with denied claims research and provider education.
• Mentor and train coders, share expertise with the team.
