Job summary

Abbott is a global healthcare leader seeking a Clinical Specialist focused on Vessel Closure in Phoenix, AZ. You will plan cases, provide coverage, and educate customers in the hospital setting to drive product utilization and sales growth.

As the primary clinical resource, you will train staff, demonstrate devices, and collaborate with sales, clinical research, and marketing to meet regional goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of related work experience.
• Ability to travel 50% within assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical procedure and product expert in support of case coverage in the hospital setting.
• Focus on Electrophysiologists and Interventional Cardiologists and hospital staff to support Vessel Closure portfolio.
• Meet with existing and potential customers to identify clinical needs and discuss how Vascular products can help achieve goals.
• Develop relationships with hospital personnel and identify key decision makers.
• Serve as primary resource for clinical support in case coverage, troubleshooting and in-service education for company products.
• Educate customers on merits and proper clinical usage of products with demonstrations.
• Attend clinical procedures to ensure customer and patient success with Vascular products.
• Respond to customer needs and complaints with feasible solutions in coordination with sales and product teams.
• Support the broader Region with case support in addition to defined territory.
