Abbott is a global healthcare leader seeking a Clinical Specialist in Vessel Closure for the North Michigan region. The role emphasizes case planning, coverage, product pull-through, and education of hospital customers to drive adoption of vascular products.

You will support electrophysiologists and interventional cardiologists, perform in-field demonstrations, deliver clinical education, and develop relationships with hospital staff to enable successful patient care and sales outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2-5+ years of related work experience.
• Ability to travel 50% within assigned region.
• Preferred: Patient interaction experience within a lab/operating room environment.
• Preferred: Relevant Technical Certification.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical procedure and product expert in support of case coverage in the hospital setting.
• Focus on Electrophysiologists and Interventional Cardiologists to support Vessel Closure products.
• Meet with physicians and hospital staff to identify clinical needs and demonstrate how vascular products help.
• Develop relationships with hospital personnel and identify key decision makers.
• Provide clinical education and in-service training for company products.
• Attend procedures in Cardiac Cath Lab, IR Lab, and OR to ensure customer success.
