Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Clinical Specialist, Vessel Closure in Lexington, KY. This field-based role focuses on case planning, case support, and product pull-through across the territory and region as needed. You will educate customers, promote vascular products, and support sales growth in hospital settings.

Primary collaboration with cardiology and vascular teams, delivering clinical education, demonstrating devices, and ensuring successful patient outcomes in procedures and ongoing service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2–5+ years of related work experience.
• Ability to travel 50% within assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical procedure and product expert for case coverage.
• Support electrophysiologists, interventional cardiologists and hospital staff.
• Meet with customers to identify clinical needs and demonstrate Vascular products.
• Develop relationships with hospital personnel and key decision makers.
• Provide clinical education and sales support to achieve sales goals.
• Attend procedures to ensure customer success with vascular products.
• Respond to customer needs by proposing feasible solutions.
• Support broader region with case coverage as needed.
