Job summary

Medtronic, a global leader in healthcare technology, seeks a Vascular Clinical Specialist in the Chicago territory. You will provide expert clinical, technical, and product support for Medtronic’s vascular portfolio, collaborating with physicians and care teams to improve patient outcomes.

This role requires travel up to 50%, occasional after-hours coverage, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. You will support sales reps and participate in training and field initiatives to drive therapy

Responsibilities

• Provide expert clinical, technical, and product support for Medtronic’s vascular portfolio, partnering with physicians and care teams to improve patient outcomes.
• Educate customers through one-on-one training, in-service programs, case support, and conference participation to drive therapy adoption and product proficiency.
• Collaborate with sales representatives, managers, and cross-functional partners to execute district plans, support revenue growth, and achieve objectives.
• Deliver responsive technical and procedural support, including after-hours coverage for urgent cases and complex procedures.
• Build and strengthen long-term relationships with physicians, administrators, clinicians, and key decision-makers to expand engagement.
• Identify customer needs, address objections, and convey market feedback to shape sales strategies and solutions.
• Manage inventory performance across accounts by audits, resolving discrepancies, and supporting consignment arrangements.
• Coordinate product launches and field initiatives to maximize inventory efficiency and align with contracts and growth opportunities.
• Support operational activities including inventory management, PO collection, and training initiatives.
• Perform physical job requirements, including lifting up to 40 lbs and standing for extended periods.
