Job summary

LCMC Health invites applications for a Vascular Xray Technologist Coordinator in the cardiac Cath Lab. The role focuses on managing daily workflow, coordinating procedures, and ensuring smooth patient flow within a busy lab environment in New Orleans, LA.

The Coordinator will work closely with physicians, anesthesia, nurses, and support staff to maintain high standards of care, safety, and efficiency while supporting organizational goals and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in X-ray or Cath Lab, or radiology special procedures training (or any critical care nursing unit if licensed as a Registered Nurse)
• Prefer high school diploma or equivalent
• Radiologic Technologist license by the LSRT and Cardio/Vascular Interventional Radiology Certification (ARRT) with BLS acceptable as substitutes

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily workflow and coordination of procedures within the Cath Lab
• Ensure efficient patient flow and timely case turnovers
• Communicate effectively with Cath Lab team, physicians, and other hospital departments
• Maintain an organized, safe, and high-functioning environment for patient care
• Document and report in accordance with departmental policies
• Support performance improvement initiatives and compliance with regulations
