LCMC Health in New Orleans seeks a Vascular X-ray Technologist Associate to provide patient care during x-ray diagnostic and therapeutic angiography. Operate equipment, ensure technical success, and adhere to ALARA and safety protocols while coordinating with physicians, nurses, and OR technologists.

The role requires independent judgment, ability to handle challenging procedures, and collaboration with the Cardiology team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience or training as Radiology Tech or Cath Lab Tech.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrates proficiency and quality in procedures according to departmental policy and procedure in technical performance of x-ray and angiography.
• Operates the Medrad injector and Radiology equipment.
• Maintains radiation safety and ALARA principles.
• Coordinates work with physicians, nurses, and OR technologists to ensure patient care during procedures.
