Qualifications

• Experience or training as Radiology Tech or Cath Lab Tech.
• Maintains LSRT/ARRT licenses and BLS/ACLS certifications.
• Proficient in x-ray and angiography procedures and safety.
• Operates radiology equipment following policy and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates proficiency in x-ray and angiography procedures per policy.
• Selects appropriate techniques, labels, and marks digital films correctly.
• Operates Medrad injector and radiology equipment.
• Maintains ALARA radiation safety and monitors badges.
• Coordinates with Departmental Director to assure workload coverage.
• Maintains patient safety, logs, and exam billing forms.
• Keeps equipment and work area organized and ready for use.
