Job summary

UNC Health in Raleigh, NC, seeks an Advanced Practice Provider to join the Vascular Physicians and APPs team. The APP will conduct comprehensive clinical evaluations, develop treatment plans, and coordinate patient care with supervising physicians.

Responsibilities include education, leadership, and participation in quality improvement initiatives, while adhering to privileging and departmental guidelines. Requires NC APRN/PA license and DEA; on-site, full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program.
• Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider in North Carolina (APRN, PA, or equivalent).
• Board certification if required by the Department; DEA registration.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain health history and perform physical assessment; interpret diagnostic tests.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans; prescribe medications per privileging.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment, and follow-up.
