Job summary

Tampa General Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Vascular Surgical Acute Care area 9C1. Under supervision of licensed nursing staff, you will assist with indirect and direct patient care, supporting nutrition, hygiene, safety, and comfort while maintaining the hospital's mission and values.

Candidates must have a Florida CNA license; high school diploma or GED; CNA/PCT experience preferred; nursing students in ASN or BSN programs may apply with Fundamentals of Nursing

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; Florida CNA license required.
Hospital PCT/CNA experience preferred.
Nursing students: enrolled in ASN or BSN and have completed Fundamentals of Nursing (unofficial transcript with application).

Responsibilities

Provide direct and indirect patient care including nutrition, hygiene, safety and comfort under supervision of licensed nursing staff.
Assist licensed nurses with patient care tasks and ensure patient well-being.
Uphold Tampa General Hospital's mission, vision and values in daily practice.

Education

High school diploma or GED

Florida CNA license

Hospital PCT/CNA experience
