Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• CA RN license (BRN) active and in good standing.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire or transfer.
• PICC certification preferred.
• Two years related clinical experience required, three years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and identify vascular access needs of patients.
• Coordinate and provide PICC placement in hospital and arrange outpatient referrals.
• Serve as a resource to staff for monitoring and managing catheter-related complications.
• Operate under Nursing Practice Act and hospital policies.
