Job summary

PSCFL is seeking a skilled RN to provide evidence-based vascular access care for pediatric patients. Responsibilities include IV access, PICC line placement and dressing changes, patient and family education, and collaboration with RNs and physicians to ensure safe, high-quality care.

The role requires BSN or enrollment, Florida RN license, CPR/BLS, and PALS within 3 months. Candidates should have strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork abilities to support Magnet-designated care

Qualifications

• RN licensed in Florida with BSN or current enrollment in BSN program
• Active BLS/CPR and PALS within 3 months of hire
• Demonstrated IV and PICC line insertion skills
• Experience with PICC line placement preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide vascular access care including IV and PICC line placement, monitoring, and dressing changes.
• Communicate patient progress and IV therapy status with physicians and care team.
• Educate patients and families about vascular access procedures and post-care.
• Assess patient condition and prevent infections and complications.
• Document care in the electronic health record and ensure accuracy of information.
