Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assess patients for vascular access and determine appropriate device.
• Place PICC, midline, or US-guided peripheral IV as needed.
• Educate patient and family, coordinate care with nurses and providers.
• Document interventions in the medical record.
• Manage dressing changes and monitor for complications.
• Collaborate with team to optimize IV therapy plans.
