Job summary

Mercy Health in Kentucky seeks an RN PICC nurse to provide vascular access for patients, including PICC lines and peripheral IVs, with or without ultrasound, and to collaborate with the care team on device care.

Preferred candidates hold an Associate degree in Nursing, current Kentucky RN license (BLS/ACLS/PALS), and at least 2 years of nursing experience; PICC certification is beneficial. Ultrasound-guided IV experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2 years nursing experience or more.
• Current Kentucky RN license with BLS/ACLS/PALS or equivalent.
• PICC certification preferred, within 1 year of start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide vascular access (PICC lines, peripheral IVs) with/without ultrasound.
• Evaluate and troubleshoot vascular access devices.
• Educate healthcare team on vascular access care.
• Chart care activities in patient records.
• Communicate with Team Lead about patient care.
• Data collection for patient safety and quality.
